Description
Today I was able to leave work early to check on the Red Shoulder hawk nest. Babies are getting bigger every day. Today seemed to be about the parents which this is one of. I even got dive bombed today and felt the claws of the hawk on the top of my head. I did nothing different so not sure why today. Almost happened a second time but I ducked. This is taking place at the library in Port Orange, Florida. So many people stop and talk wanting to know what kind of birds they are. I have met so many nice people watching natures young bird family.

Beautiful capture of this hawk. Looks like he's on guard duty. Great woodsy colors. Well done on detail and lighting. Great composition! L.

Excellent detail and lovely composition! I like how the flower colors match the breast of the hawk.
